Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Azha.

He called upon the people to work together in building a safe, peaceful, and discrimination-free Bangladesh through unity, harmony, and mutual respect.

In his message on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Azha, the minister said, Eid-ul-Azha teaches the values of sacrifice, self-restraint, self-purification, compassion, and devotion to Almighty Allah.

He noted that these ideals inspire people to uphold morality, responsibility, and dedication to public welfare in personal, social, and national life.

"The true spirit of Eid is fulfilled only when people from all walks of life can equally share in its joy," he said.

He urged wealthy and capable individuals to stand beside the poor, helpless, and underprivileged members of society during the festival.

The minister further said that the administration, police, and other government agencies are working tirelessly to ensure a safe, peaceful, and festive Eid celebration across the country.

He also urged citizens to maintain cleanliness and health guidelines and to perform sacrificial rituals in an environmentally friendly manner.

The Home Minister expressed hope that the lessons of Eid-ul-Azha would strengthen peace, solidarity, and social harmony in society and contribute to building a safer Bangladesh for all.

He wished the people good health, peace, prosperity, and a joyful Eid celebration in a secured environment, reports BSS.
