CEC urges all parties to hold participatory parliament polls

CEC Kazi Habibul Awal has said that the commission has kept on requesting all political parties to make the upcoming national parliament election participatory.



Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal has said that the commission has kept on requesting all political parties to make the upcoming national parliament election participatory.
The CEC said this while holding a dialogue with Bangladesh Khilafat Andolan at around 10:30 am on Sunday (July 24).
“We have organized dialogues with all political parties aiming at the upcoming national parliament election and requested them to hold a fair, participatory and acceptable election,” CEC Awal said.
Earlier, a 12-member team led by the Amir of Bangladesh Khilafat Andolan Hazrat Maulana Hafez Ataullah Ibn Hafezi participated in the EC dialogue presided over by the CEC.
