The High Court has postponed a lower court order that had asked GM Quader to refrain from party activities as Jatiya Party chairman.



The High Court has postponed a lower court order that had asked GM Quader to refrain from party activities as Jatiya Party chairman.
As a result of this, there is no legal bar for GM Quader to perform responsibilities of Jatiya Party chairman following the HC order, his lawyer said.
Justice Muhammad Abdul Hafiz passed the order on Sunday (February 5) staying the lower court embargo for eight weeks.
GM Quader’s lawyer Sheikh Sirajul Islam confirmed this to reporters.
