Gazipur city polls: BNP leader’s son submits nomination paper

Sarkar Shah Nur Islam Roni, son of BNP leader Nurul Islam Sarkar, has submitted a nomination paper for the upcoming Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) polls.



Sarkar Shah Nur Islam Roni, son of BNP leader Nurul Islam Sarkar, has submitted a nomination paper for the upcoming Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) polls.
He submitted the nomination paper to Returning Officer Faridul Islam on Thursday.
He collected the nomination paper on Wednesday.
Awami League-nominated mayoral candidate Azmat Ullah Khan has already collected the nomination paper.
Returning Officer Faridul Islam said four candidates have submitted nomination papers for mayor post while 191 for general councillor post and 64 for reserved councillor post for women.
