By-election to the Dhaka-17 constituency will be held on July 17.



By-election to the Dhaka-17 constituency will be held on July 17.
Election Commission Md Jahangir Alam announced the schedule on Thursday.
The last date for submission of nomination papers is 15 June and they will be finalised on 18 June, he said.
Voting using ballots will start from 8am and continue till 4pm on the election, he also said.
The seat was fell vacant after the death of actor Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooque, Member of Parliament of Dhaka-17 Constituency on May 15.
