Hefazat leader Azharul arrested in Dhaka

Dhaka, June 15 :  Detectives arrested Azharul Islam, former organizing secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan Hefazat-e-Islam, on Tuesday morning.
DMP's ADC Media Iftekhairul Islam said he was arrested from Jatrabari area on sabotage charge.
He was an accused in a violence case over Shapla Chattar incident in 2013, he said.
DB Police said at least 50 Hefazat leaders have so far been arrested on sabotage charges, reports UNB.
