After 10 years Jubo League conference to be held in Kalapara

Gofran Biswas Palash, Patuakhali: after 10 years tri-annual conferenceof Upazila Jubo League is going to be held finally in Kalapara of Patuakhali. According to section 16 and 21 of the  constitution of Jobo League, 16 September 2023 Jubo League Upazila conference date has been set. Jubo League District President Advocate Md. Shahidul and secretary advocate Syed Md. Sohel confirmed this information is in a notice.

Before this, District Jubo League called biodata from the aspirants for the post of president and secretary of Upazila Jubo League. The date of the Upazila Jubo League conference was also fixed on July 28. But in the end Kalapara upazila conference was suspended.

According to sources, after declaration of the Kalapara Upazila Jubo League conference date activists of the Juboleague became active. Theaspirants of the president-secretary post have started lobby to district and central leaders.

Earlier, after getting the post of organizing secretary of the upazila Awami league, Jubo League upazila unit president and secretary became inactive. Since there is no committee of trinamool in the last 10 years, communication of upazila Jubo League leaders decreased with trinamool leaders and workers . From the grassroots to the upazila the organization became inactive. In the party ahead of the 12th National

Assembly elections preparing for the conference under the guidance of the center to create new leadership. The Jubo League has started to get stronger.

However, trinamool leaders and workers demand that efficient, hardworking and self-sacrificing leaders and workers should be given posts. As they led overcome 10 years of inactivity of the Jubo League and may face the anti-democracy movement on the streets in the coming days.

The source also said that the names being heard for the post of Jubo League president are Md Humayun Kabir, Md Shahidul Islam, Md Ziaur Rahman, Syed Zakir Hossain, Syed Moshiur Rahman Shimu, Zaki Hossain

Zuku etc. Among them trinamool leader and workers wants, former president of Upazila Chhatra League, repeatedly elected councilor of the municipality and panel mayor Md Humayun Kabir as president. Noa lternative of Humayun Kabir's if the trinamool Council leadership is elected party sources say.

When contacted with Upazila Jubo League President and Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md. Shafikul Alam Babul, he said, 'Those are hybrids who commented that the Upzilla Jubo League is inactive.' When asked about the transaction of large amount of money for the post of president-secretary, he further said, 'I hear this in the air. I am very worried about such news.'

District Jubo League President Advocate Md. Shahidul Islam said, after the conference, the biodata of the aspirants of the upazila committee will be submitted to the central committee. Jubo League chairman and secretary will make the selection of Upazila Committee then we will approve. Certainly a leader basedo  n sacrifice and merit will be elected.

Advocate Shahidul also said, I was in charge of district secretary for a long time.I am fulfilling the responsibility of Jubo League with transparency. No rumors about the committee Jubo League. We do Clean Jubo League.
