BNP hatches conspiracy against country: Nasim

Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today said BNP is hatching conspiracy against the country's democracy.

"BNP wants to kill democracy and establish autocracy in the country," he told a discussion of Awami Swechchhasebak League marking 77th birth day of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Auditorium.

Nasim said BNP wants to destroy the spirit of communal harmony and transform the country into a Taliban State. BNP is spreading falsehood against the incumbent government and trying to confuse the countrymen, he said.

The anti-liberation forces are hatching conspiracy to kill AL President Sheikh Hasina, he said and urged all to remain alert against BNP's any sorts of conspiracy.

Bangladesh Awami Swechchhasebak League President Gazi Mesbahul Hossain Sachchu presided over the meeting and its General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu moderated it.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Sharfuddin Ahmed, Treasurer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Dr. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, Central vice president of the organization M Abdur Razzak, Dhaka City North president Ishaq Miah, South president Kamrul Hasan Ripon, North general secretary Anisur Rahman Naeem and South general secretary Tariq Saeed spoke, reports BSS.
