Islami Andolan Bangladesh will hold a protest rally at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the capital after Jummah prayer.
Islami Andolan Bangladesh will hold a protest rally at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the capital after Jummah prayer on Friday, protesting the announcement of the election schedule by Election Commission.
The party on Thursday organised a rally at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram as preparation for Friday's programme.
Syed Mosaddek Billah Al-Madani, senior presidium member of the party, said that the election schedule was announced without political consensus which will lead the political crisis in the country.
He also demanded the cancellation of the election schedule.
Meanwhile, Election Commission on Wednesday had announced the schedule of 12th parliamentary election on January 7.
Following the announcement different political parties, including BNP, LDA, Jamaat, had expressed their reactions. They also held different protest progammes, including blockade, hartal, rally.
