Islami Andolan BD plans rally urging scrapping of elections

Dhaka, Jan 08 - Islami Andolan Bangladesh will hold a rally demanding the cancellation of 'farcical elections' and new elections under a national government on Tuesday.
The rally would be start at 3pm at Baitul Mukarram North Gate with the party's Dhaka Metropolitan South President Maulana Muhammad Imtiaz Alam in the chair, said a press release signed by Ahmad Abdul Qayyum, publicity secretary of IAB.
Party General Secretary Principal Hafez Maulana Yunus Ahmad will attend as the chief guest in the rally before the protest march.
Apart from this, central and city leaders will address the rally. - UNB
