Fakhrul gets bail in another case
The same court also granted bail to BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury in two cases including one lodged over murder of police constable Amirul Islam Pervej.
A Dhaka court Wednesday granted bail to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in another case filed with the capital's Paltan Model Police Station.
The same court also granted bail to BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury in two cases including one lodged over murder of police constable Amirul Islam Pervej.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tahmina Haque passed the order on the bond of Tk 10,000.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sultan Sohagh Uddin on January 10 granted bail to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in nine cases filed with the capital's Ramna and Paltan Model Police Stations.
The BNP Secretary General has been granted bail in 10 out of 11 cases filed against him, so far.
