AL to hold anti-terrorism rally at Bangabandhu Avenue Friday



Dhaka, July 24 - Bangladesh Awami League will organise an anti-terrorism rally this Friday (July 26, 2024).

The programme is scheduled to be held in the afternoon in front of the central office of the party at Bangabandhu Avenue.

Party General Secretary Obaidul Quader, will speak at the event as chief guest.

Meanwhile, normalcy returned to some extent in the country today after a week of chaos and violence over student protests demanding quota reform.

Offices and banks opened for a few hours today while the authorities started restoring broadband internet services in the capital Dhaka and the port city Chattogram.

The ongoing curfew would continue in Dhaka and elsewhere until the situation improves.-UNB
