Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed today descrived Sheikh Hasina as the ‘Koh-i-Noor of India’, saying that no country except India across the globe supported Sheikh Hasina.

“Sheikh Hasina was the Koh-i-Noor of India. They (India) could not stop their heartache after  losing such a precious diamond,” he said, raising a question over the state of democracy in India.

Rizvi was addressing a mass rally organized by Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Swechhasebak Dal at Jashore Chourasta Mor (intersection) here.

BNP National Executive Committee’s Acting Organizing Secretary Anindya Islam Amit and central Swechhasebak Dal General Secretary Rajib Ahsan were present at the rally, among others, reports BSS.

Jashore District Swechhasebak Dal President Engineer Rabiul Islam presided over the rally.
