RAB arrests Ex-Tarash upazila chairman from Dhaka

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested former chairman of Sirajganj’s Tarash Upazila Md Moniruzzaman Moni from Dhaka’s Dhanmondi.
Moniruzzaman was arrested during a joint operation conducted by RAB-2 and RAB-12 at 7:05 m on Tuesday, confirmed A RAB-2 Operations Officer on Wednesday, reports UNB.
He is facing charges in an attempted murder case filed at the Tarash Police Station in Sirajganj, said the RAB official.
