Ex-MP Solaiman Salim Arrested in Gulshan

Former Dhaka-7 lawmaker Solaiman Salim
Former Dhaka-7 lawmaker Solaiman Salim was arrested early this morning in Gulshan, in connection with a murder investigation.
According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Hossain of Chawkbazar Police Station, Salim was apprehended around 12:30 AM from a residence in the area. The arrest follows a murder case filed with the station.
Salim, the son of former lawmaker Haji Mohammad Salim, had been in hiding since the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5, evading arrest. His father, Haji Salim, was arrested on September 1 from the capital's Bangshal area.
