Fakhrul to Attend Nat'l Prayer Breakfast in the US

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will depart Dhaka tomorrow evening to attend the annual 'National Prayer Breakfast' in the United States. He will be joined by Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP's Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee and the National Standing Committee.
Tarique Rahman, BNP's Acting Chairman, along with Fakhrul and Amir Khasru, was invited to the event. However, Tarique will not attend, and his daughter, Barrister Zaima Rahman, will represent him at the gathering.
Fakhrul and Amir Khasru will travel via London, and the event, organized by the National Prayer Breakfast Foundation, will be held in Washington, D.C., on February 5 and 6. The foundation is renowned for bringing together political and religious leaders through prayer and interfaith dialogue.
