The reports were handed over at the State Guest House Jamuna by Judiciary Reform Commission Chief Justice Shah Abu Naeem Mominur Rahman and Public Administration Reform Commission Chief Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury.
The Public Administration Reform Commission, in its report, proposed over 100 recommendations for a comprehensive overhaul of the public administration system. Notably, it suggests the creation of a new service cadre, the Superior Executive Service (SES), to address inter-cadre disparities in the public sector.
Since independence, numerous reform commissions have been established to improve public administration, but many of their recommendations have not been implemented.
"While all our recommendations are practical, their implementation will ultimately depend on the government's decision," commission head Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury stated at the Secretariat.
The final recommendations of six reform commissions will be officially disclosed on 8 February, according to Asif Nazrul.
