Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin reaffirmed the interim government's commitment to conducting free, fair, and credible elections during a meeting with Ambassador Tracey Ann Jacobson, Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Dhaka, on Sunday.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jacobson expressed the US Administration's dedication to supporting Bangladesh's ongoing democratic transformation and strengthening bilateral ties in areas such as trade, investment, development cooperation, energy security, public health, institution-building, and addressing the plight of displaced Rohingyas.
