A section of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Natore held a news conference on Monday.

Natore, Mar 3 -A section of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Natore wants its newly formed 342-member committee to be dissolved within 12 hours.

They made the demand at a press briefing at a restaurant at Natore district headquarters on Monday noon.

The deprived leaders threatened that they would block streets and rail tracks if their demand was not met within the deadline.

On February 28, the central committee announced the 342-member committee for the district for the next six months.

Earlier on January 5, another 295-member conveying committee was announced but later it was dissolved when questions were raised over the committee.

Deprived Mashiur Rahman Fuad, who held a post in the 295-member committee as member secretary, read out the written statement.

Sheikh Obaidullah, joint convenor of the newly formed committee, said no one was deprived of position. Those who are not in the district committee are being accommodated in the upazila committee. - UNB
