The group warned of a blockade in Dhaka if the Awami League is not banned within the specified time. They also called on Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus' office to announce or make a decision regarding the ban due to the party’s alleged fascist activities.
"If no action is taken within the next 48 hours, we will continue our sit-in protest at the Central Shaheed Minar until the Awami League is banned," they declared.
The protesters also made it clear that any attempt to rehabilitate the Awami League would not be tolerated. Sujon, one of the injured victims from the July uprising, stated, "Hasina’s party has caused immense grief to countless families over the past 17 years. If the Awami League is not banned, we will launch another movement in 2024. We are not afraid of death. As long as we live, we will not allow Hasina’s killer party to return."
Ashraful, another prominent figure in the movement, warned the current government against engaging in further conspiracies, emphasizing that thousands of injured victims are still suffering in hospitals and that any such attempts would be met with resistance.
The "July Warriors" remain resolute in their demand for justice, vowing to continue their fight for what they consider a crucial cause.
