Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter has called for those responsible for killing students and citizens during the July Uprising to be brought to justice.

Speaking to reporters after exchanging Eid greetings with the families of martyrs from the anti-discrimination movement, Farida emphasized that the trial of the perpetrators, including the masterminds, should take place before the current government’s term ends.

During the occasion, she met with the families of martyrs Alif Ahmed Siam, Sraban Gazi, and Nishan.

Also present at the event were Department of Livestock Services Director Md. Maniruzzaman and Savar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abu Bakar Sarker.
