BNP standing committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain has called for unity among party leaders and activists to resist conspiracies and ensure participation in the upcoming national elections.

"We must forget all differences and work together. There is no alternative to unity," he said while addressing a joint workers' meeting at the Nababganj Pilot Girls' High School auditorium in the district this evening.

Dr Zahid said conspiracies must be confronted by engaging the people and reiterated that the next national polls must be held as scheduled time.

"The people are eagerly waiting to exercise their voting rights. Their expectation must not be thwarted," he added, urging BNP leaders and workers to remain vigilant and continue working alongside the public.

The meeting was presided over by Nababganj Upazila BNP acting president Tariqul Islam and conducted by acting general secretary Iqbal Hossain, reports BSS.
