Home Minister and BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed today called upon all political parties, including the National Citizen Party (NCP) to remain united in the greater interest of the nation despite differences of opinion and make parliament the main forum for discussion.
“We might have differences of opinions. But we have to remain united in the interest of the nation. We have to make the parliament the centre of discussions,” he said at an iftar party marking the first founding anniversary of the NCP at Abahani Club in Dhanmondi in the capital.
Emphasizing democratic values, Salahuddin said constructive dialogue in parliament is essential for strengthening institutions and ensuring national progress.
He urged political leaders to prioritize the public interests above partisan politics, reports BSS.
