Energy crisis: Govt fixes different weekly holidays for industrial zones

The government on Thursday fixed different weekly holiday in  industrial zones across the country to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.

Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment issued a circular in this regard.

Under section 114(2) of the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006, different weekly closing day has been fixed in public interest, said DIFE, reports UNB.
