Fakhrul mourns death of Holiday editor Sayed Kamaluddin



Dhaka, Mar 6 - BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday expressed deep shock at the death of weekly Holiday editor Sayed Kamaluddin Ahamed.

In a condolence message, he said Kamaluddin was a fully professional journalist who worked for different national and international media outlets with reputation.

Fakhrul recalled that Kamaluddin served as head of the communications wing of Bangladesh Nationalist Research and Communications.

The BNP leader also said the holiday editor worked to protect the interests of the journalist community by serving as the general secretary and president of the Jatiya Press Club.

He prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed his profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.-UNB
