Veteran journalist Salauddin Mia passes away

Haji Mohammad Salauddin Mia, senior journalist of The Daily Janakantha and Ekushey Television and a valiant freedom fighter, passed away at his residence in Keraniganj on Friday afternoon.
He is survived by wife, two sons, one daughter and numerous admirers and well-wishers.
He was also a former president of the Keraniganj Press Club.
His namaz-e-janaza was held after Maghrib prayers today in his neighbourhood at Char Kutub, reports UNB.
