Newspapers to observe holiday on Aug 5

The Newspaper Owners’ Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) has declared Tuesday (August 5) a holiday for newspaper offices marking 'July Mass Uprising Day.'


However, NOAB members may publish newspapers under special arrangements during the holiday, according to a notice issued on Monday, signed by NOAB President AK Azad, reports UNB. 

The decision was made by NOAB’s Executive Committee, the notice added.
