The weather department has predicted showers in eight divisions of the country in 24 hours commencing 9 am on Sunday.



The weather department has predicted showers in eight divisions of the country in 24 hours commencing 9 am on Sunday.
According to the regular weather bulletin, “Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and intense lightning flashes is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country.”
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
The Met office has recorded 304mm of rainfall in Sylhet district.
The highest temperature was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius in Tarash, while the minimum temperature was 22.0 degrees in Sitakunda.
