Light to moderate rains likely in Mymensingh, Sylhet Divs

The weather department has predicted showers ranging from light to moderate across the countryin 24 hours commencing 9am on Sunday.



The weather department has forecast light to moderate showers across the country in 24 hours commencing 9am on Sunday.

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” the Met office has said.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
A low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay off Odisha West Bengal coast.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, centre of the low to Assam across central part of Bangladesh.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh & moderate elsewhere over North Bay.
