Dhaka, July 04 - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted rain or thundershowers in all divisions of the country, including Dhaka in 72 hours commencing 9am on Thursday.

"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Chattogram and Sylhet Divisions," said a met office update.

Teknaf recorded the highest rainfall in the country, with 87 mm over the 24 hours leading up to 6 am today.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to the BMD.

Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate to strong over North Bay.-UNB
