Met Office predicts rain, thundershowers across Bangladesh

Rain, thundershowers likely throughout the country: BMD



Dhaka, Aug 11 - Light to moderate rain, thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country, according to Met Office’s latest weather bulletin on Sunday.

Both the day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country, it added.

The country’s highest temperatures were recorded in Rangpur’s Rajarhat at 35.1 degree Celsius over the past 24 hours till 6pm Sunday while the lowest temperature was in Chattogram’s Ramgati at 25.0 degree Celsius.-UNB
