People will get some relief from hot weather as  the country may witness rainfall from tomorrow.

“Rainfall may occur over southern parts of the country from tomorrow and other parts will also experience rainfall from September 23,” Dr Abul Kalam Mallik, a meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) told the news agency this morning.

“Almost the entire country may witness rainfall meaning heat wave will not prevail in the country due to the influence of rainfall,” he added.

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over the country, according to weather bulletin issued by BMD here today.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country, reports BSS.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.
