Dhaka, Sep 29 -Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers in all divisions including Dhaka of the country in 24 hours commencing 9am on Sunday.

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka division at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions,” said a met office update.

The country’s highest 37 millimeter of rainfall was recorded in Netrokona in 24 hours till 6am on Sunday.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to the BMD.

The country’s highest temperature was recorded in Jashore at 34.8 degree Celsius over the past 24 hours till 6pm on Saturday while the lowest temperature 22.4 degree Celsius was recorded in Panchagarh’s Tetulia till 6am on Sunday. - UNB
