How to make Christmas Cake

Christmas cake



Ingredients:

#   Mixed dried fruits-- 250gm

#   Orange juice and zest --1 orange

#    Lemon juice and zest--1 lemon

#    Mixed spice-- 1 tsp

#  Butter--200gm

#    Flour-- 200gm

#    Brown Sugar-- 150gm

#    Egg-- 4 pieces

#   Vanilla extract-- 2 tsp

#    Butter cream-- 300gm

Method:

1.    Pour the juices and zests into a pan, sprinkle the dried fruits. Simmer it until dry fruits absorb the juices. Let it dry for 1 hour.

2.    Pre- heat the oven at 250 degree Celsius for 20 minutes.

3.    Now mix butter and sugar together until fluffy.

4.    Add eggs one at a time and mix well.

5.    Add vanilla extract and mix again.

6.    Now mix absorbed mixed fruits and flour with cut and fold method.

7.    Now pour the batter in to a 6 inches round mold and bake it for 40-45 minutes or until it done.

8.    After cooling decorate your cake with butter cream as your wish. Your Christmas cake is ready to serve!!
