Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of a 12 kg liquefied natural gas (LPG) cylinder by Tk 41 to Tk 1,474 from Tk 1,433.
The new price effects from 6pm on Sunday (February 4).

Prices of other LPG cylinders – from 5.5 kg to 45 kg – will go up rationally, he added.
As per the BERC decision, the price of 'auto gas' (LPG used for motor vehicles) also increased to Tk 67.68 per litre (including VAT) from Tk 65.76 per litre.
Earlier, BERC increased the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder by Tk 29 to Tk 1,433 from Tk 1,404 for the month of January.
