Dr. Md Kamal Uddin,

Hachib Mohammad Tusar, PhD (Fellow), University Putra Malaysia

Writing a scientific paper is a very difficult task for most of the students and researchers. PhD students also find themselves in a dilemma when writing their thesis and other scientific articles.

It has been found that most PhD students cannot complete their thesis in the given time because they do not have enough knowledge about the thesis topic, treatments, variables and their sequence. Therefore, most of the PhD students are not able to complete their thesis within the given time. Keyword, Sequence, Importance (KSI) is a novel innovation for academic writing developed by renowned Bangladeshi scholar Dr. Md Kamal uddin. This novel technique has been approved as a postgraduate course at University Putra Malaysia. Dr. Kamal Uddin is the pioneer of this technique which is a great achievement for Bangladeshi people in Malaysia.

Dr. Md Kamal Uddin earned his B. Sc. in. Agricultural Science and MS in Soil Science from the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh and received his Ph.D. in Agronomy from University Putra Malaysia. He has over 20 years of teaching and research experience. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow and Research Fellow at the Institute of Tropical Agriculture, University Putra Malaysia. He was a senior lecturer at University Malaysia Sabah. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Land Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University Putra Malaysia. He was an associate member of the editorial board of Fundamental and Applied Agriculture (FAA) and Forte open journal. He was awarded a silver and a bronze medal for the UPM research competition and also received the Excellence Service Award from the Vice Chancellor of UPM. He has completed many research projects funded by the Malaysian Department of Higher Education, DFID (UK), and IRRI (Philippines).

The writing process of introduction, literature review, methodology, results and discussion of a scientific paper is explained in details in KSI technique. The system for writing the abstract, recommendation and conclusion was also explained. This KSI technique highlights the necessary steps to write a thesis and other scientific paper in order to save time and complete the work in time. Education is a big challenge in today's world, so it is important to develop quality education in every institute in Bangladesh. For this reason, academic staff, research fellows, postdoctoral fellows and scientists must be encouraged to adopt KSI technology said Dr. Kamal Uddin. It is expected that in the future this technology will be widely used in most universities in Bangladesh and all over the world.
