The United Kingdom has turned down Sheikh Hasina's application for political asylum, as reported by Indian media outlet Anandabazar on Monday.

The report indicates that Sheikh Hasina, who recently resigned, did not apply for political asylum in India. Initially, it was anticipated that she would depart for London on Monday night. However, it has now emerged that her request for asylum in the UK has been rejected.
Previously, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh arrived at the IAF's Hindan Airbase near Delhi around 5:30 pm. According to various Indian sources, she was expected to travel to New Delhi before heading to London. Details regarding her stay in New Delhi or her flight schedule to London remain unclear.
