In-person classes at all primary schools in the country will be resumed from March 2 maintaining health guidelines properly.

In-person classes at all primary schools in the country will be resumed from March 2 maintaining health guidelines properly.

The earlier decision of resumption of in-person classes in all primary schools on March 1 has been changed as the Shab-e-Meraj will be observed on March 1, public relation officer of Ministry of Primary and Mass Education told BSS.

"All the primary schools in the country have been requested to take necessary steps for opening and resuming classroom teaching activities from March 2," he added.

The government had announced closure of all types of educational institutions on January 21 for the rising cases of new Covid-19 variant Omicron.

Classroom teaching in secondary, higher secondary and universities is scheduled to start from February 22 due to the reduction in infection.
