Bazlur appointed Global Envoy for responsible AI

AHM Bazlur Rahman, the Chief Executive Officer of Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC), has been appointed as Global Ambassador for Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Bangladesh.


Carmen Marsh, Chief Responsible AI Officer and Founder of the Global Council for Responsible AI, announced the appointment of Bazlur Rahman.

This esteemed role reflects a commitment to promoting ethical practices in artificial intelligence and underscores the importance of collaboration in advancing responsible AI initiatives in the region, said a media release on Saturday.

As an Ambassador for Responsible AI in Bangladesh, his leadership and commitment to advancing ethical, transparent and accountable artificial intelligence (AI) are invaluable as he continues building a global movement.

As Global Ambassador, he will be essential in representing Bangladesh, promoting local engagement, and contributing to international initiatives focused on the responsible advancement of artificial intelligence.

Responsible AI development requires not only the advancement of technological capabilities but also a commitment to ethical considerations and equitable access for all.

By encouraging collaboration among various communities, industries, and disciplines, one can develop AI systems that enhance human potential, safeguard privacy and promote fairness, reports UNB.
