Mahfuz, Aupee Karim pair up for ‘Odrisshyo’

Actors Mahfuz Ahmed and Aupee Karim are set to share the silver screen in the Hoichoi series ‘Odrisshyo’ streaming October 5.

Actors Mahfuz Ahmed and Aupee Karim are set to share the silver screen in the Hoichoi series "Odrisshyo" streaming October 5.

The series Directed by Shafayet Mansoor Rana tells the story of Anis, a successful businessman and aspiring politician. In "Odrisshyo'' Anis finds his life spiralling out of control when he wakes up in a room with no knowledge of how or why he was brought there. Meanwhile, his disappearance causes citywide political unrest. 

On this ride of suspense, drama, and intrigue as his role of Anis, Mahfuz Ahmed mentioned, “I immediately said yes after reading the script, this series marks my debut in the OTT world. It’s a gripping story and I’m excited to witness our audiences’ reaction.”

Aupee Karim, Film Award-winning actress will portray Anis’s wife. Karim stated,  “I greatly enjoyed working with Shafayet Mansoor Rana. Odrisshyo marks my return to OTT after a long break and It’s always a delight to share screen with Mahfuz Ahmed.”
