Coordination meeting held at Mongla Port to increase import-export

A coordination meeting has been held to increase the import-export at Mongla Port by increasing the opportunities for traders.



A coordination meeting has been held to increase the import-export at Mongla Port by increasing the opportunities for traders.

Mongla Port Authority and Mongla Customs House held this meeting with the investors of Mongla EPZ on Wednesday morning organized by Mongla EPZ.

Mongla Port Authority chairman Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa was present as the chief guest and Mongla Customs House commissioner Neyazur Rahman was the special guest at the programme.

Commodore Mohammad Abdul Wadud Tarafdar, member of Mongla Port, presided over the meeting.

Mongla Port chairman Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa said Mongla Port has achieved much more capacity than before, several projects have already been completed, several more projects have been undertaken which will increase the capacity of the port.

He also invited the businessmen directly to the port for any kind of facilities.

Commodore Mohammad Abdul Wadud Tarafdar gave a presentation on the current and future plans and capabilities of the port.
