Bangladesh is currently reviewing its tariffs on products imported from the United States, according to Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.

In a Facebook post this morning, Alam stated that the National Board of Revenue (NBR) is working to identify options for expediting the rationalization of these tariffs to address the issue effectively.

He emphasized that the US is a close ally of Bangladesh and its largest export market. Alam also noted that the interim government has been collaborating with the US since the Trump administration to boost trade and investment between the two nations.

"The ongoing discussions with the US government are expected to help resolve the tariff concerns," Alam added.
