Derailment halts Dhaka’s rail link with Mymensingh

Rail communication between Dhaka and Mymensingh has been suspended.



Rail communication between Dhaka and Mymensingh has been suspended as a bogie of Dhaka-bound ‘Bhawal Express’ train derailed in Rajendrapur area of Gazipur.
The derailment happened around 9:50 am on Thursday (June 16).
Rezaul Islam, station master of Joydebpur Railway junction, said a bogie of Dhaka-bound ‘Bhawal Express’ train from Mymensingh veered off the tracks, halting train services on the route.
