Dhaka-Sylhet train service resumes

Train services between Dhaka and Sylhet resumed as flood water started receding in most of the areas of the district.

"The train communication on Dhaka-Sylhet route resumed at around 12:55 this afternoon," Sylhet Railway Station Manager Nurul Islam told BSS.

The authorities suspended train communication on Dhaka-Sylhet route due to heavy rainfall and onrush of water from the upstream, reports BSS.
