Motorcycles are crossing the Padma Bridge although the government has prohibited plying of motorcycles on the bridge in view of the accidents.



Motorcycles are crossing the Padma Bridge although the government has prohibited plying of motorcycles on the bridge in view of the accidents.
Motorcycles are not plying on the bridge but it was seen on Monday morning that pickup vans are carrying motorcycles to cross the bridge. Tk 400 is being taken as charge per motorcycle.
On Sunday afternoon, the Bridges Division issued an order mentioning a ban on plying motorcycles on the Padma Bridge in view of the accidents.
According to the order, the ban on motorcycle will come into effect from 6am of June 27. The ban will be effective till further order, it added.
