Flight operations resume at 3 airports

Flight operations at three airports— Sylhet Osmani International Airport, Cox’s Bazar International Airport and Barishal Airport— resumed Tuesday.



Flight operations at three airports— Sylhet Osmani International Airport, Cox’s Bazar International Airport and Barishal Airport— resumed Tuesday (October 25) after 21 hours of suspension due to the inclement weather caused by the cyclone ‘Sitrang’.
The services resumed at the three airports at 12 pm, according to a notification issued by Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB).
Earlier, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Barishal airports were declared closed for 21 hours -- from 3pm yesterday to 12pm today -- due to the inclement weather caused by the cyclone ‘Sitrang’.
