Bus services on Rajbari-Dhaka route remained suspended.
Authority of Rajbari Bus Owners Association has suspended the bus movement on the route since early Monday (October 2) following a dispute with the owners of Golden Line Paribahan.
It was learned that only Golden Line Paribahan buses go Dhaka through Padma Bridge. It was settled in a meeting between Bus-Truck Owners Association and Rajbari Bus Owners that Golden Line will be permitted only two trips. But defying the decision, they have been running more trips.
Following this, authority of Rajbari Bus Owners Association suspended the bus movement on the route since the early hours of Monday.
Abdur Razzak Liton, general secretary of Rajbari Bus Owners Association, confirmed the matter.
