Bangabandhu Tunnel to be inaugurated on Oct 28

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel in Chattogram on Saturday.



Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel in Chattogram on Saturday (October 28).

The premier will also 19 more development projects in the port city on that day.

Chattogram District Commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammed Fakhruzzaman said several development projects are being implemented in Chattogram. Some of these projects have been completed; some are in the final stages. The prime minister will inaugurate some of them on 28 October.

The projects are- Chattogram Muslim Institute Cultural Complex, Chattogram Zilla Parishad Tower, Rangunia Zilla Parishad Dak Bungalow, Anwara Zila Parishad Dak Bungalow, Patia Sheikh Kamal Auditorium, Raujan Upazila Sheikh Kamal Complex, Bangabandhu Mural at the Chattogram airport intersection, a 390.40-metre long PC Girder Bridge on the Shikalbaha Canal in Patia, Liberation War Memorial and Museum, Jannetri Sheikh Hasina Road from the Chattogram airport to Bangabandhu Tunnel and Siemens Hostel Complex Building, Chattogram DC park, Chattogram tourist bus service, cultural center and fields in 191 unions, Chattogram birds park, Chattogram boat museum.
