Benapole Express train to resume operations from Jan 11

Benapole Station Master Shahiduzzaman said the train will leave Benapole for Dhaka at 1pm on Thursday.



After five days' of suspension following the arson attack in Dhaka's Gopibagh, Benapole Express train will resume operation from Thursday (January 11) following an arson attack in Dhaka's Gopibagh area that left four people dead.

Confirming the matter, Benapole Station Master Shahiduzzaman said the train will leave Benapole for Dhaka at 1pm on Thursday and will return from Dhaka at 11:45pm the same day.

Four people were killed and several sustained burn injuries after arsonists set fire to the Benapole Express train at Gopibagh on Friday (January 5) night.

After the incident, Bangladesh Railway authorities suspended the movement of Dhalarchar and Benapole Express trains that night.
