Ferry service on Daulatdia-Paturia route resumes after 8 hrs

The ferry movement on the route returned to normal around 9:45 am on Wednesday (January 10).



The ferry services on the Paturia-Daulatdia route have resumed after nearly eight hours of suspension due to dense fog.

The ferry movement on the route returned to normal around 9:45 am on Wednesday (January 10).

Earlier, authorities of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) suspended the ferry service due to dense fog to avoid accidents around 01:30 am.

BIWTC Aricha Regional Office Shah Md Khaled Newaz said, “The ferry service has been restored from 9:45 am. Earlier, the service was suspended from 1:30 am on Wednesday to avoid accidents as nothing could be seen in the fog.”
